The whole matter of the James Arthur Ray Sedona sweat lodge tragedy has illustrated quite clearly that when average Americans are tested their word means nothing!! If they promise to take full responsibility for their actions AND EVEN PUT THAT PROMISE IN WRITING it means nothing...IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!
This incidenct demonstrates that Americans, in general, have lost all sense of honor. They will sell you out for a price and think nothing much of it.
THEIR HONOR IS FOR SALE!!!!
As for myself, If I promise to take full responsibility for my actions AT ANY EVENT that is what I will do. If I stay in a sweat lodge longer than I should have that was MY CHOICE and no one else's, period!!
A vision quest is NOT SAFE!!! Anyone going on a vision quest should NOT do so thinking there is an absolute guarantee will return safely. ESPECIALLY when it was CLEARLY STATED in the release form that some of the activities of the Sedona 'Warrior Workshop' might very well cause death. They should set their lives in order in case they do not return or DON'T BOTHER GOING ON A VISION QUEST!!! To NOT do this is to be a fool just asking for trouble. Great success in life often requires taking risks. If you refuse to take any risks then expect a mediocre life of just scraping along and getting nowhere worth being. Those who are determined to always play it safe never tend to do great things. There may be exceptions to this general rule, but I have never heard of ANYONE who accomplished great things in life by always playing it safe.
I bought this book because I wanted to let Mr Ray know that there is at least ONE honorable American left in this country. If there are any other honorable people who have benefited from Mr Ray's help in the past I strongly suggest you buy this book as well and leave a glowing review for a man who is a victim of people who sell their honor if the price is right.
I FEEL VERY STRONGLY that if the relatives of the three who died in the sweat lodge were there that day those three would have said they were fine and wanted to continue. What would those relatives have done? Drag them out of the sweat lodge against their will? I DON'T THINK SO!!! Those three died a death I would have been proud to have died of. Unfortunately, their relatives stripped those three of the honorable death they would have had. The final promise a warrior makes is the most sacred of all promises in a warrior's life.
IT MUST NOT BE BROKEN!!!!!
The relatives of those three broke their sacred promise to take full responsibility for their actions at that event. That was their final promise
AND IT WAS SACRED!!!!!
Unfortunately, NOTHING IS SACRED to average Americans. They go for the dollar and those who broke their promises, at that event, tried to take Mr Ray for every penny they could get. They are probably hovering like proverbial vultures waiting for Mr Ray to make any substantial money so that they can take it all away!!!
THEY HAVE NO SENSE OF HONOR
THEY FEEL RAY WAS IN IT JUST FOR THE MONEY
AND THEY ARE NOW READY TO TAKE MR RAY FOR EVERY PENNY THEY CAN GET!!!

YOU DISHONOR THE MEMORY OF THOSE THREE WHO DIED
YOU KNEW THEY WERE NOT WEAK-MINDED CULT MEMBERS
YOU KNEW THEY WERE SEASONED WARRIORS
YET YOU EXPECTED MR RAY TO TREAT THEM LIKE THEY WERE MENTALLY CHALLENGED LITTLE CHILDREN
