A must have for those in Journalism Field.

This book is being used as a textbook in my Media Management class, and I have learned so much from this book already as an aspiring reporter. Even if I am never in management in the journalism field, this book helps me understand the kinds of things my boss may go through, so that I can better work with them. It discusses everything from leadership to the different theories of different types of managers. I hate that this book is out of print, but I still encourage anyone in the journalism field to get their hands on this book while they can.

Sharon Hanna was a lifelong educator, having taught in Nebraska, New Jersey, and Illinois. She received both faculty achievement and outstanding teacher awards during her career. Her research on the strengths of stepfamilies was published in academic journals, and she served as national president of the Stepfamily Association of America. I used this book for a course back in 2009, and cannot seem to find my copy. This was the such an informative book, that I am considering purchasing it again. Very easy to read and has so much information in one place. Wish every textbook was written like this!

Groundbreaking, "must have" book for animators;

This is an expanded 2nd Edition of a title first published in 2000 and now in use around the world, as a source manual and text book, by industry leading professional animators as well as animation students in the most highly regarded animation schools.

Must have for any character animator!

Extremely helpful and easy to read, this is a must have for anyone interested in/or in the field of character animation. Be it for entertainment/film, gaming or advertising, this book is helpful for all. It includes scene by scene breakdowns of some great animated films and tells you what you should aim for, what works. It is a great product and I guarantee you'll love it.

I wish I read this book years ago. I've been animating professionaly for years, but there's information in this book that has given me a different mind set into accomplishing what I need to create.

I've always been able to 'see' faults in my work and fix it without knowing consiously how I made the error in the first place. Now, after reading this book I take a new vantage point and can prevent any errors occuring (usually). I think my style of animation has changed a little too.

The book is fun to read and the chapters are straight to the point. Recommended to every animator.

About the Author
Dr. P K Sahu is an Associate Professor in Agricultural Statistics, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, India. Dr Sahu has a bright academic career record with 1st class in all spheres of academic life and was also awarded with National Scholarship and Research Scholarship. Specialized in the field of Agricultural Statistics, he has worked in the Central University, North Eastern Hill University, Medziphama Campus; Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India before joining Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya as a faculty member. He has also worked as a guest faculty in the University of Calcutta, IISER, Kolkata. Due to his vast working experience in different agriculture and allied fields, he is aware of the various problems and needs of the students, researchers, and academia in various fields. He has authored four books, served as member of the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Council for Faculty of Agriculture, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, and successfully guided students leading to masters and PhD degree. Besides attending and presenting research papers in different national and international seminars, symposia and workshops, both in and outside the country, he has written more than 70 research papers that have been published in various national and international journals in different diverse agricultural and allied fields with special emphasis on application of statistics in these fields.
