Important knowledge for anyone who does theatre! Ignorance is not bliss. It is dangerous.

The book is important for anyone who does theatre and a must for educators. While many health and injury hazards are obvious there are many that are not. Some hazards are environmental, some procedural, and some chemical. With the knowledge provided in this book most can be avoided or eliminated. This book was written a while ago and many of her safety points are now standard procedure and hazards have been eliminated in part, I believe, due to this information and Ms. Rossol's advocacy. Many are not. It is in everyone's best interest to know and act upon the information provided in this book.
