i found this book very helpful in breeding poultry unfortunately there are some important varieties and breeds missing
the information is drawn heavily from experienced breeders but because it is older is lacking genetics that a more modern breeder may relate to

Everyone who wants to breed their poultry and wants some idea of what they will produce should buy this book. It is readable, not dry, and also a nice size for carrying around.
